MAASIN CITY (PIA) -- Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative (SOLECO), the lone power distributor in the province, has offered a scholarship program to qualified children of its end users who are entering college for the School Year 2023-2024.
“All incoming college freshmen from Southern Leyte are invited to apply to the Scholarship Program of SOLECO for all qualified beneficiaries who are sons or daughters of our Member-Consumer-Owners especially those underprivileged and deserving students,” the electric utility announced in its social media page.
One scholarship slot, SOLECO said, is available in each of the following area of the province as defined in its manner of grouping the places by district, namely: Macrohon, Padre Burgos, Limasawa, and Malitbog for District II.
District III includes Tomas Oppus, Bontoc, and Sogod; District IV - Saint Bernard, San Juan, and Anahawan; District V - Hinundayan, Hinunangan, and Silago; and District - Libagon, Liloan, San Francisco, Pintuyan and San Ricardo
