CATBALOGAN CITY (PIA) -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - Samar Field Office continues its commitment to support and empower micro establishments in the region through its successful implementation of the Technical and Advisory Visit (TAV) Program.
The recent TAV, the fourth batch conducted by the office, took place at the Cocina de Cabral in Catbalogan City, Samar.
Following the initial two batches held in Calbayog City on May 25 and May 31, 2023, and the third batch held on June 15, 2023, the DOLE Samar Field Office organized the fourth batch exclusively for micro establishments from Catbalogan City.
With 50 micro establishments in attendance, the event proved to be a productive platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building.
The TAV Program aims to provide technical guidance, advice, and support to micro establishments to enhance their operations, productivity, and compliance with labor standards.
By offering practical and relevant guidance, the program equips these establishments with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges of running a business in a competitive market.
Over the course of the TAV Program's implementation, a remarkable total of 205 micro establishments across Samar have taken advantage of the opportunity.
The DOLE Samar Field Office remains dedicated to ensuring that micro entrepreneurs receive the necessary support and resources needed to thrive in their respective industries.
