NORTHERN SAMAR -- The Philippine Army Annual General Inspection (PA AGI) Team led by Col. Nazarito A. Floresca II, deputy/assistant inspector general, accompanied by Col. Arlene A. Frage, inspector general of the 8th Infantry (Stormtroopers) Division (8ID), visited the troopers of the 43rd Infantry “We Search” Battalion in Brgy. Magsaysay, Lope De Vega, Northern Samar on Thursday, August 25.
Colonel Floresca was warmly received by the officers and personnel of the “We Search” troopers led by Lt. Col. Manuel B. Degay Jr., commanding officer of the 43IB, followed by a guest book signing and joined in a simple breakfast by the officers and non-commissioned officers of 43IB.
The visit was part of the annual inspection being conducted by the Philippine Army to the 8ID and its subordinate units to assess the line units in terms of mission accomplishment; ensure a high level of morale, welfare, and discipline of troops; strengthen leadership; and guarantee the effective and efficient utilization of government resources.
With the inspection, the “We Search” troopers ensure transparency to promote good governance in achieving honesty in accordance with the Philippine Army’s core values: Honor, Patriotism, Duty.
